Seniors at Home Limited is established in providing exceptional service, and exists to ‘Maintain the Independence’ of Seniors in their own homes through up-front and fair costs, quality work, and attention to detail. It really is that simple. We are the only company which focuses solely on the needs of Seniors in home maintenance, and we are so proud of that. We care deeply about Seniors being treated with respect, dignity, and transparency, living our values of trust, simplicity, and making it happen.

Each of our lead tradespeople are Ministry of Justice checked, first-aid and Dementia-Friendly trained, upskilled in communication and quality workmanship, and personally vetted by our Founders to ensure the highest standards of integrity and delivery.

We offer one-off repair, maintenance, and renovation jobs of all sizes, through to an annual subscription service that allows Seniors to pay monthly instalments that provide up to $636 of extra value over the year.

Unique to Seniors at Home, we provide a customised up-to 10-year maintenance plan, so Senior home owners have confidence their home is looked after and continues to meet their needs as they age. Our plans are designed to spread costs out over time and reduce the chances of unexpected bills - we know how important this is for our customers with pensions.

Co-Founders Brent Craig and Dr. Mark Long are fathers, and are blessed to still have their parents in their lives.

Through experience, they saw a need for seniors, where support and resources that should be available just aren’t there from a truly trusted, quality company.

So they wanted to change that. And Seniors at Home is their way of doing just that.

“We have made our service offerings available for all seniors living alone, with their partners, or with other family members across main centres, and eventually, throughout the country, because it will make an enormous difference in the lives of seniors.”

Mark owns a property management company, develops property, and has a business consultancy. He manages trades services and maintenance himself, and has worked alongside seniors for home maintenance.

Mark’s mother of 66 moved into her own home across the road from him and his family. She needed home maintenance support from fixing a heat pump, to cleaning the moss from the exterior, to jobs as simple as changing a smoke alarm or dusting the top of the curtains.

“These tasks needed some agility, a little expertise, the right tools, and a safety mindset to make her home feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free. It was a privilege to be able to provide that for her”.

For Brent, property maintenance is something he has always done and enjoyed. As a young lad he helped his dad paint the house, and mend the fences.

When visiting family or grandparents, Brent and his dad would often be asked to help with repairs; “of course I'd be the one sent up to the roof to clear the gutters or to crawl into the loft - it taught me a lot about what it takes to keep your house in order”.

All of these are lessons Brent has now applied to each home he’s lived in, and which has led to a successful career in property maintenance.
