Wakefield Homestead provides support for people who require help to be able to live independently as possible within the umbrella of the Homestead which is there to give extra support when needed. It's home for people from all walks of life we have no bias, remaining open minded with no judgments. If you feel your not getting the support you need then give us a ring and we may be able to help.

Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes We have a great team of Caregivers here at Wakefield that are all trained and hold their certificates in care of our Elders and people with dementia.

Occupational Therapist Yes We network through different organisations so a Occupational Therapist is available through arranged appointment's.
Social Worker (on site) Yes The manager Hilary is a social worker and has a network of people available.

Wakefield Homestead is a lovely rural home. We have a no uniform/name badge policy with a non-clinical approach. The Home is dedicated to finding natural ways of healing with the input from our local Medical center and pharmacist we can a provide a holistic approach to health and support.

What's included in your fees and what's not Cost of Supported Living is $360.18 per week this fee includes your meals, wifi, laundry and if there are seats on the van you can go on outings. All the services you had at home can you can keep when you come in for support for example careers from outside agencies, hospice etc.
Staffing qualifications and details All staff do on going training in support and all have their First Aid certificates
Details about meals All meals are homemade from start to service. We can provide for special diets. We also provide Meals on Wheels during the week, not on weekends or public holidays.
