About Radius Waipuna

Radius Waipuna logo

Set high above the Panmure Basin, Radius Waipuna offers specialist care with sweeping views and a strong sense of home.

Radius Waipuna is a specialist health and aged care facility supporting elderly and disabled people who require assistance in their daily lives. Proudly part of a New Zealand owned and operated organisation, we are committed to delivering high-quality rest home and private hospital care with professionalism, compassion, and respect.

One of 22 Radius Care facilities across New Zealand, Radius Waipuna is located in Mt Wellington, Auckland, overlooking the beautiful Panmure Basin. Our elevated position provides a peaceful outlook and a calming environment, while remaining close to local amenities and family connections.

We take our responsibility to residents seriously and strive to create a place people can truly call home. Supporting independence is central to our approach. We encourage residents to maintain their abilities, pursue meaningful goals, and live enriched lives, supported by skilled and attentive care.

Our care is guided by our EPEC philosophy, Exceptional People, Exceptional Care. Built on the values of compassion, courage, and commitment, this framework shapes everything we do and how we care for those who live with us.

Residents Say It Best

”I stayed here for a few weeks to recover from a broken hip & was very happy with the care I received. The staff across the board were wonderful, friendly & hard-working.

There were a range of activities on offer, Happy Hour on a Friday afternoon & a lovely peaceful garden, perfect for enjoying the sun.”

Rose Skudder

”We the family of Mey Chong are truly thankful for the love, care and companionship shared by fellow residents, carers, nurses and doctors during the ten months Mey was cared for at Radius Waipuna. The staff get reviewed for looking after many residents through various stages of health, mental challenges, and are to be commended. Concerns raised are taken seriously. The paths and views of surrounding gardens, Mt Wellington and Panmure Basin offer sanctuary for both residents and residents, visiting families and friends. Well worth your visit to check it out!”

Keith KV Chong

”In the beginning, I'm very skeptical putting mum on rest home but because of the very welcoming, friendly and caring staff, nurses and Healthcare assistants in Raduis Waipuna, my perspective have changed. My mum cannot stop sharing her experiences everytime I visit her. She is so happy and pleased on how she was treated by everyone. I have witnessed the best service when my mum called me at night panicking about pain in her leg and I told her to press the red emergency button to call for assistance. In less than 10 mins. I can hear 3 different voices from the background assisting mum. That gives me so much peace knowing that mum will be taken care of. I would highly recommend Raiduis Waipuna. Well done for the great service. Keep up the good work!. Blessings to you all!”

Zachary Camacho

”The staff are fantastic. Doing a tough job and always with a smile on their faces. Very caring people. The rooms are good and the food is also pretty good. They handled the pandemic very, very well.”

Andy Flint

”Excellent and immediate response by senior management. Most staff are very good and caring. Some above excellence. Thanks to the management for your response to my request.”

Dorothy Tregidga

”Took care of my grandma till the very end, the nurses loved her so much. Thank you, Radius Family.”

Jayden Steyn

”Excellent care provided by amazing staff. I've been in a few rest homes and will definitely recommend Radius Waipuna.”
