Ultimate Care Manurewa is a renovated homestead which has been converted into a comfortable rest home and hospital. Our lovely grounds feature landscaped garden boxes, pot plants and hanging baskets containing a varied and colourful array of seasonal flowers. Every room has a window seat and is bright and sunny.

The facility has a rest home, along with an on-site hospital to cater for all levels of care. We provide a variety of excellent home-cooked meals and we are only a short distance from the Manukau Supa Clinic, with Westfield Manukau also close by.

Our dedicated team of nurses and caregivers offer an unparalleled quality of personalised care backed by industry-leading qualifications and training. They are provided with ongoing training and professional development.

We offer comfortable home-like facilities and deliver the very best in care.

Our Facility Manager comments, “People often tell me that they hear laughter when they visit our community. We have really lovely people here both in terms of staff and residents. Everyone is made to feel welcome and at home.”

To the General Manager of Ultimate Care.

I am writing to commend the outstanding care given to my brother for the last few days of his life at Ultimate Care Manurewa.

Initially I was welcomed warmly and shown the facilities. All the staff( tea ladies, carers, and nurses) were extremely courteous, sensitive, observant and kind. They went out of their way to make my brother and his family comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Their attention to detail was commendable. I am so appreciative of all the staff did for us and would like to thank them sincerely.

I would particularly like to thank Icy and Aubry for their exceptional care. They made the time we spent at Ultimate Care the very best it could be. Their gentleness and expertise and sensitivity was heartwarming.

We were blessed. With grateful thanks.
