Waihi Hospital and Rest Home has been supporting the local community in the beautiful town of Waihi since 1902. The private facility is set in lovely landscaped grounds and is only a stone’s throw from local bush walks, gardens, beaches and cafes.

We are now proud to present a newly refurbished room which offers residents a home away from home with a generous sized bedroom with Ensuite.

Waihi Hospital and Rest Home offer Hospital, Rest Home, Palliative and Respite level care. We aim to facilitate and support the highest level of independence, as it applies to each person, with dignity, privacy and respect. We are committed to providing holistic care in a homelike environment which ensures comfort, dignity and freedom.

Featuring lush gardens and indoor activity rooms for intimate gatherings; Waihi Hospital and Rest Home has a lively activity program to suit all residents. Everything we do is aimed at living well. We are passionate about the residents enjoying their favourite pastimes and we encourage the whole family to be involved. Eating is a wonderful social event and good nutrition underpins good health. Our menus are superb and we cook fresh on site.

Waihi Hospital and Rest Home is supported by a team of dedicated aged care professionals who help us enhance our resident's lifestyles. The 56 bed facility offers single, double and shared rooms, along with home-style furnishings and finishes.

Waihi Hospital and Rest Home invites you to tour the facility and the new accommodation. Please contact us for more information.
