Norfolk Court Home and Hospital is a family-owned Home located in the heart of Dargaville. Our Home is your Home. We are committed to caring for each resident who comes through our doors as if they were our own family, that is why we ensure to always involve you and your family in all decisions to ensure that your wishes are honored.
Here at Norfolk Court, no matter the level of care that is required each resident is individually acknowledged. Our Home is well equipped with competent staff that receive consistent training with up-to-date techniques on how to care for your loved ones.
All residents who come to us whether they be Rest Home, Hospital or Dementia Residents all have individualized Care Plans catered to everyone’s needs which are reviewed at least every 6month or when required. We also provide Day care, Respite care and Palliative Care if required. Residents are seen regularly by our local Doctors who are on site every Tuesday. Access to a Podiatrist and Physio can be arranged when needed.
All our meals are cooked and planned on site in conjunction with and certified by a registered Dietician. We have an inhouse House Keeping team who take care of the daily Cleaning and Laundry for the residents. We also have an onsite Hairdresser who visits our home on a weekly basis.

Testimonials
| Just felt I had to let you know how we as a family are so pleased with the care mum is getting. Every one of your team treats each and every patient with the utmost respect and dignity mixed with such warm caring loving natures. It was a wonderful moment watching mum feed another resident her dinner and desert. The pair of them chatting away talking about god knows what. What a character. I left smiling from ear to ear. Haven't felt this happy in a long long time. If there was ever a home away from home, mum has found it. What more could we ever ask for. Thanks again.(Tania 2022) Just a note to say what a marvellous job you are doing . I realise it's never easy coming in to an existing business and keeping residents and staff happy.I thought previous owners' footsteps would be hard to follow ,for anyone, but that hasn't been the case.My aunt is better groomed and seems more stimulated as she has time in the lounge.I love the way the staff chat and engage with me and others in the lounge. Also I find the whole home has a much more organized and calm feel.So a big thank you to all but especially you Lydia as it comes from the top. (Jennet 2023) “My Uncle moved into Norfolk Court in October 2023. Fortunately, there was a room available at the time he was to be discharged from hospital. My observations are that it is the most wonderful, caring environment. Staff are just lovely, residents happy, and the surroundings couldn't be nicer. My Uncle seems happy and is slowly adjusting to his new home.Anyone considering Rest home/hospital/dementia care won't be disappointed. I most certainly can recommend” (Rae 2023) I just want to say thank you so much for looking after Norma so well...I saw her again today, and each time I come, she looks so well and happy. I am very impressed with all your staff, who are all so friendly to me, making me feel welcome at any time. Regards (Mary 2024) I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with all your team this evening during the fire evacuation. Everyone moved into their roles with purpose and efficiency which, given the situation, was very testing. I am so pleased mum & dad are in a rest home where they are safe and so well cared for. You do an amazing job and your nurses, caregivers and cooks are a credit to you (plus the Gardeners and maintenance crew). Everyone is so patient, caring and understanding ( Gemma 2024) Although Mum has only been at Norfolk Court less than a week we can not be more thrilled on how easy you and your staff have made Mum feel so welcome and made the transition so easy.Already family and friends visiting Mum can see a real positive change in her well being which is great.Once again, many thanks for allowing Mum to make Norfolk Court home.( Terry 2024) Thanks Lidija for all yours and Norfolk Court consideration of Eunice's needs and care over the years she spent with you, my thanks also go to your staff as well, every one I dealt with were sterling people and always pleasant to deal with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Norfolk Court for their care and consideration of anyone choosing to live or have elderly relatives live at your rest home. (Bryan 2025) Last week when talking with the nurse from the Hospice , she commented that the staff and the care offered at Norfolk Court were really great. She especially singled out you (Lidija) and Catherine as being completely in touch with each patient's state of health and both being involved at a "grass-roots" level. We are so thankful for you both and your staff, with the kindness and care given to Mother and Dad.Kind regards,(Mary 2025) |
