From two and three bedrooms villas, to smaller independent living cottages, Te Awa Lifecare also offers 63 rest home and hospital level care suites, as well as a dementia homestead comprising 12 individual care suites. Construction of the stage two villas are now complete and stage 3 has commenced, all of which are well-appointed throughout, with designer kitchens, HRV heat pumps and a call bell connected to 24 hour support.
Residents are spoilt for choice when it comes to facilities and activities at Te Awa Lifecare. On-site recreation amenities include indoor bowls, a gym, snooker room, library, cinema, café, arts and crafts room, hair salon and a large lounge/dining hall for community-centered events.

Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
