Testimonials
Testimonials
We chose MiLife Rosewood Park as it ticked all our boxes plus independence, security and good neighbours.I have a small vegetable patch in a lovely garden setting. Also means that one or other of us can carry on here on our own with very few worries. Thank you MiLife. Peter Scott.

We have a gazebo in the rose garden with a outdoor table and chairs - great for outdoor dining. We have a number of benches and chairs available in the gardens on which to enjoy the lovely surroundings.

The corner dairy which also sells (very nice) Fish and Chips is a quick walk away.

The Manager is responsible for the Administration & Maintenance of the Village buildings and grounds, Accounts, banking, reading electricity meters monthly and charging out power accounts to Residents and banking payments. Budgets, organising the AGM, running the Bus to town and also the Sale and Re-sales of Units.

The two bedroom Villas are all unique. Some have a conservatory and some have bay windows. We have units with moderns kitchens and wetfloor bathrooms and some with freestanding showers. There are units with internal access garages finished with garage carpet and some without garages.

All our Units and Villas are constructed with Hinuera Stone to sill height and then texture coated to the soffit finished with natural cedar shingles and corona shakes. They have aluminium windows and doors and the garages have auto opening doors for ease of access.

We have a large vegetable garden which is raised with edging for sitting while tending the garden. This is shared between residents who have an interest in this area. Residents are encouraged to share in the upkeep of the gardens (around their Villas or the Communal gardens) if they are able and enjoy this.

Residents are encouraged to organise their own events and outings and they have shared many luncheons, afternoon teas and BBQ's together along with quest speakers coming to the village. The weekly "Happy Hour' is very popular, and cards are played regularly every week. There are weekly meeting groups to play Housie, Scrabble and exercise classes in the Community Lounge.

The Community Lounge is available to the residents for large private family events special celebrations.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
