- Homely and friendly.
- Staff are good. I couldn't get looked after any better.
- Great place. I enjoy it here. Meals are good. Great care. Great staff.
- No moans. Like it here. Good food, good service and staff.

Our recent stay was so enjoyable, lovely rooms and everything so clean. Beautiful food and staff are so kind and courteous. Our stay was has helped us to gain our health enough to go back to our cottage at Peacehaven. Many thanks for everything.

Nurse Practitioner Yes Dawn Acker Nurse Practitioner candidate visits weekly.
Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes Our care staff are trained regularly with updates in best practice for the care of our residents. We are fortunate to have most staff with Level 3 qualification in NZ Health and Wellbeing as well as some staff with the Level 4 NZ certificate.
Physiotherapist Yes The PSS physiotherapist visits fortnightly and assesses our residents for mobility and falls prevention.
Occupational Therapist Negotiable Shannon has just started with us working along side the Diversional Therapists and the Activities Co-ordinators.
Activities Co-ordinator 40 Yes Our Diversional Therapist Jo works on having an interesting and varied programme, which includes music therapy as one of the activities that residents enjoy and look forward to every week.
Hairdresser Yes Weekly visits.
Podiatrist Yes Visits every 6 weeks.
Dietitian Yes Our menu has just been revised and we provide meals to a high standard. Individual diet requirements are provided for. Dietitian involvement is available for those with specialist diets.

Details about Meals All our meals are cooked on site. There are alternative dietary requirements available and a Dietician available for support and advise.
Staffing Qualifications and Details Alot of our staff are long term and have qualified in Level 2, 3, & 4 of the National Certificate in Support of the Older Person.
Associated Complexes Presbyterian Support Southland Facilities has three Resthomes in Invercargill and one in Gore. Three of the Resthomes have hospital and dementia care, as well as residential level care.

Public Transport 0.30 km There is a bus stop along Yarrow Street which is about 3-5 minutes walk from Walmsley House.
Shops 0.50 km There are a couple of shops locally and then the shops in the main area of town.
Mall 0.00 km Although we only have a small mall in the main part of town, there are plenty of shops around it and in the nearby streets.
Parks 1.00 km We are very lucky to have some lovely parks in Invercargill, the closest being Queens Park. Here, you are able to have some scenic walks, just relax on one of the benches or stop and have something to eat in the cafe.
Library 2.00 km Small library on site. Public Library books also available on site, regularly updated. There is a wonderful large public library in town for those resident's wanting more.
