To the General Manager of Ultimate Care. I am writing to commend the outstanding care given to my brother for the last few days of his life at Ultimate Care Manurewa. Initially I was welcomed warmly and shown the facilities. All the staff( tea ladies, carers, and nurses) were extremely courteous, sensitive, observant and kind. They went out of their way to make my brother and his family comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Their attention to detail was commendable. I am so appreciative of all the staff did for us and would like to thank them sincerely. I would particularly like to thank Icy and Aubry for their exceptional care. They made the time we spent at Ultimate Care the very best it could be. Their gentleness and expertise and sensitivity was heartwarming. We were blessed. With grateful thanks. |

Ultimate Care Manurewa is a Rest Home & Hospital owned by the Ultimate Care Group, a company with excellent reputation for providing quality care to all consumers. This is highlighted and reflected in our occupancy rate and the unusually high percentage of residents who transferred here from other rest homes. Ultimate Care Manurewa sits on a spacious half acre site landscaped with garden boxes, pot plant containers and hanging baskets containing a varied and colourful array of flowers. Gardening ideas and suggestions are sought from residents and incorporated in the choice of flowers and presentation of the gardens. Willing residents play a key role in the weeding, pruning, planting and watering of the gardens as well as assisting staff with key tasks such as collecting the mail, serving morning/afternoon tea/ supper, running games, etc. |
