Each resident’s room at The Oaks is more than just a place to stay – it’s your private retreat. We offer both standard and premium care rooms, including luxurious Care Suites. Whether you prefer a cozy, personal space to relax or a larger, more spacious room with extra features, we’ve got you covered.

Standard Rooms: Our standard rooms are designed to provide everything you need with plenty of space for a single bed, a chair, and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is covered by the Care Services Fee set by the DHB, making it a seamless option for many.

Premium Rooms: For those seeking added comfort and flexibility, our premium rooms offer extra space, an ensuite bathroom, or even outdoor access. These upgraded rooms are perfect for residents who want a more luxurious experience. An additional daily fee applies for these premium features.

Conveniently located at 88 Main South Road, Sockburn, Christchurch, The Oaks Care Centre and Village provides the perfect balance of peace and accessibility. This central location ensures your loved ones can easily visit, and you have the freedom to explore the local area.

- Spacious Wardrobes: Each room includes generously sized wardrobes, allowing residents to store their belongings with ease and keep their personal items organized.

The gardens are thoughtfully designed to be both aesthetic and therapeutic, offering a sense of tranquility and calm to all who visit.
- Outdoor Seating: For those who love to enjoy the outdoors, we offer plenty of seating in sunny spots, perfect for reading a book, enjoying a cup of tea, or simply soaking in the sunshine.

- Sheltered Courtyards: Several of our internal rooms overlook sheltered courtyards, providing garden views and a peaceful environment. These areas are designed to promote well-being and allow residents to connect with nature, even when inside.

- Private Garden Access: Many of our rooms also have sliding doors that lead directly into a private section of the garden, offering residents the freedom to enjoy their own personal outdoor space whenever they like.
