Welcome to Roseanne Retirement Home
Great Healthcare
Small on size, Big on care

Life at Roseanne Retirement Home
Roseanne is a small, home-style residence in Napier where care is personal, relationships are genuine, and everyone belongs.
We support residents and build a real sense of family that includes those who live here, their loved ones, and our dedicated team. Whether you're with us for a short day stay or a more permanent one, you'll be known, respected, and warmly welcomed into the daily rhythm of life and fun at Roseanne Retirement Home.

What Makes Roseanne Retirement Home Special
Truly Individualised Care
We take the time to understand each person — their routine, preferences, and what makes them feel at ease. Care is tailored, never one-size-fits-all.

A Home Full of Heart
Visitors are welcome any time. We love seeing families involved and encourage them to join in meals, activities, and outings if they wish.

Our Team is Family Too
At Roseanne, staff are part of the heart and soul of the home. Our supportive team brings warmth, skill, and compassion, fun and laughter to everything they do.

Respectful, Professional Support
We provide thoughtful, high-quality care with a deep respect for each resident’s cultural background, spiritual beliefs, and individual dignity.

Meals That Feel Like Home
All meals are prepared fresh on-site in our kitchen, using quality ingredients and care.
Our menus are flexible and cater to personal tastes, dietary needs, and nutritional requirements.
Mealtimes are relaxed and enjoyable — shared with others, just like at home.

Comfortable, Personal Spaces
We offer a range of 16 welcoming bedrooms, including 15 rooms with their own ensuite toilet and hand basin.
There are two shared shower areas, thoughtfully designed for ease of use and comfort.
Each room is ready to be personalised — a place that feels like your own.

Daily Life & Meaningful Activities
We believe in living well at every age. Our days are filled with activity, purpose, and choice.
A qualified Diversional Therapist leads an engaging programme of activities to support wellbeing, creativity, and connection.
From music, movement, games, and themed events, there’s something for everyone.
Participation is always optional and flexible — residents are encouraged to take part in a way that suits their energy and interests.
Day guests and respite day care residents are welcomed into our community and invited to join all activities while they’re with us.

Day Care, Respite & Availability
In addition to long-term care, Roseanne offers Day Care Respite, providing a warm, social, and supportive environment Monday to Friday.
If you’re considering care for yourself or someone close to you, we’d love to hear from you. Vacancies come up regularly, and we’re happy to talk through options and expected timeframes.
Even if you’re planning ahead, we encourage you to put your name down early. We’re here to help you navigate the journey with honesty, care, and no pressure — just a genuine conversation about what’s right for you or your loved one.

We’d be honoured to welcome you into our home or talk through how we can help.
