We have a wonderful activities programme and welcome your input into this. If you look around the grounds at Resthaven and inside, you will notice many quirky crafts that have been made with the Activities team and the Residents.

We are fortunate to have a wide and varied program available and are fortunate to have the support of the Calvin Womens Church Group to assist with this prgramme - Advocate, Age Concern, Alzheimer's Society, Big print books, Breakfast in bed, Canine friends, Bowls, Care and Craft, Chapel, Church, CMA, Concerts, Cooking, Dancing, Digital camera, Electric beds, Exercises, Flower arranging, Happy Hour, Housie, Indoor Games, Lotto, Minibus, Massage, Spa, Stroke Group, TAB, Womens Institute, Videos.

Public Transport 1.00 km Taxis are available and we have a van trip to the local suppermarket weekly.
Shops 1.00 km We have a great variety of shops and most items are able to be sourced locally. The shops are all close to each other, so not too much walking is required
Mall   There is not one of these in Gore, although, as stated above, the shops are close in vicinity to each other
Parks 0.50 km We have some great parks locally and also just out of town. Our Gore Gardens are always colourful and there is a bird aviary there as well. Out of town 15 minutes, there is a family park - Dolamore Park, which is a nice drive
Library 1.50 km There is a good library on the north side of the township, but also Resthaven has a small library which is updated regularly
