Special Features
Ultimate Care Pōneke House provides a warm and homely environment in the Wellington suburb of Mount Victoria, surrounded by the Town Belt. Ultimate Care Pōneke House is very competently managed by qualified, professional and friendly staff, who strive to implement and maintain an excellent level of care for residents at all times. The individual resident rooms, lounges and sheltered outdoor areas, including well-managed gardens, have a sunny perspective. There is a bus stop very close to the facility, with Wellington Hospital within walking distance. Allied health professional services are easily accessible. The Activities and Recreation programme is a vital component for residents living at Ultimate Care Pōneke House. It endeavours to provide a variety of events and entertainment, and residents are encouraged to be involved and as active as possible. Regular contact is maintained with local organisations such as schools and church groups, SPCA, and the wheelchair-capable group van is utilised for resident outings to interesting parts of Wellington City and beyond.
