We are a privately owned home and hospital with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We offer excellent meals with special diets catered for - you are welcome to visit at any time. We are just 1 km from the beautiful grounds of the Homestead at the University of Canterbury with their wonderful rhododendron display and many lovely walks are available close by. We have dual purpose beds which enables hospital or rest home level of care - if a rest home Resident's level of care changes to hospital care, they can remain in the same facility although they may have to change rooms. There is also the benefit of onsite Registered Nurse 24/7 and in-house GP. We offer a varied and extensive Activities Program Monday to Friday. We have outings in our wheelchair bus. An entertainer is booked once a week and we have a Happy Hour on the last Thursday of the month when friends and family are welcome to join with Residents for a social gathering. We have no set visiting hours. |
