Knox Home embraces the Eden Alternative™ to transform the way we operate and care. We’re combating loneliness, helplessness and boredom for enriched lives.

We’re all a bit different; personalities, likes, dislikes, beliefs and backgrounds. What we have in common though, is a desire to live life looking forward to each day - stimulated, happy, cared for and part of a community.

Knox is a care home and hospital in Epsom, Auckland for elders and younger people who live with physical disability. We're a community committed to creating a human habitat where life revolves around close and continuing contact with plants, animals and children.

As a Charitable Trust with over 100 years of service to the Auckland community, Knox knows what it’s like to be a little alternative and we understand what it takes to provide superior care and attention.

The Eden Alternative principles are extremely important to us, so that's why we recognise every day as a gift. Our mission is to make sure we add to the quality and enjoyment of every single one.
