Description
Ultimate Care Churtonleigh is a place where you can be as independent or as cared for as you choose. We are situated in the heart of Churton Park with panoramic views over the surrounding hills. The rest home and hospital facility has a sunny, sheltered deck area, a small courtyard off the dining room and a choice of communal lounges. Our kitchen team produces nutritional meals and snacks that are cooked on site and our recreation team comprises two qualified Diversional Therapists who work together to provide a wide range of activities

Registered Nurse Yes We have a team of committed registered nurses who strive to ensure the residents needs are being met. Our team of registered nurses cover all shifts 24/7.
Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes We have a dedicated team of caregivers. We also have a very low turnover of staff, this is reassuring for our residents who prefer to have consistency of staff.
Physiotherapist Yes An experienced Physiotherapist visits weekly and all residents are assessed on admission and followed up as required. Independence and mobility are encouraged within the resident's limitations. The Physiotherapist is involved in educating all staff.
Occupational Therapist Yes We can access occupational therapy services if required
Diversional Therapist No We have a fully qualified Diversional Therapist on staff. She delivers a varied, comprehensive programme to enhance the quality of life of our residents. Activities include weekly visits from the local school, entertainment & van outings.
Activities Co-ordinator Yes Our activities team deliver the best activity programme that meets all the individual needs of our residents. There are lots of things to do and many trips out and about.
Hairdresser Yes Available to visit on request.
Podiatrist Yes Visits regularly and as required.

We are part of the Ultimate Care Group

We encourage all of our care staff to complete their National Certificate in care of the elderly and undertake education in dementia care. We are pro-active in encouraging education on a variety of topics.

We like to consult with and involve families as much as possible.

Details re Meals Our kitchen team produces nutritional meals and snacks cooked on site. The company employs a food consultant and menus are dietician-approved. We cater for special diets and do our best to provide individual preference.
Staffing Details We have Registered Nurses on site 24 hours a day. In addition both the Facility Manager and Clinical Services Manager are Registered Nurses.
