At Ryman’s Bert Sutcliffe Village, exceptional care is thoughtfully delivered every day.

Located close to Verran's Corner, the village is set in beautifully landscaped gardens with sweeping views over Kauri Point. Along with independent and assisted living, we offer a range of care options, including rest home, hospital, dementia and respite care.

Every care room is spacious and includes an ensuite bathroom and call bells monitored around the clock.

Our dementia care unit has two wings. One provides accommodation for both male and female residents, and one is transitioning to an all-female wing to provide more choice in care environments. Male and female residents from both wings can attend activities together during the day if they wish.

Our compassionate care teams are supported by the award-winning myRyman Care app, giving them more time to spend with residents. You or your loved one will have a detailed care plan tailored to your needs and preferences – right down to how you like your tea or coffee. Wherever possible, the same team members will care for you each day.

Delicious meals are prepared fresh on site by our village chefs using seasonal, nutritious ingredients. Our menu is an area where we continually strive to go above and beyond, as our talented chefs aim to tempt every taste bud.
