February 2018
To Aria Gardens management and staff,

I am writing to say thank you for the wonderful care the staff in Pohutukawa gave my mother, Clare Rugg, for the last 3 years she was with them.
Mum got a whole new lease of life when she moved into Aria Gardens. She just loved it and was so happy. She loved and respected the staff, she loved the company, the bus trips, the quizzes, all of it.
On her move to the Magnolia Ward in the hospital wing in October 1st I was so comforted by the amazing care that was given to my mother. She was always so clean and fresh. With all the staff being so patient and kind. Not only were they so kind to my mum but also to me during my days sitting with her. They were so thoughtful and caring not only to mum's needs but also my own.
I thank you all for making the last few years of my mother's life so happy and comfortable. You have amazing staff.

Kind regards,
Cathie Coutts

Hi Leanne,

Thanks so much

I always feels so welcome at your facility, love your staff – they are awesome.

Dear Leanne,
Thank you to those at Aria Gardens who have gone out of the way for my Mum and Dad was they both moved into your facility this week. We are grateful to the wonderful staff and the Facility Manager, for having a place that Dad and Mum can be in at different levels at the same place. Everyone is so caring, and flexible and they have both settled in so well. Thanks to all involved.

Aria Gardens,
I had come to Aria Gardens as an Interim Care patient, and I would have to say I am "Grateful to God for sending me here" to Aria Gardens.

Hi Denise

Thank you for everything that you did for my Dad, for me and his family. You made his transition into Aria Gardens so stress free at a very hard time. Having you at their front door, they are truly lucky – the day I first met you I knew that Aria Gardens would be the best place for my dear Dad. The love you show for your patients is amazing. Thank you Denise, also for all the hugs and for listening to me. You are amazing.

Good evening,
My mother has been in the Hibiscus wing in the Private hospital since May 2016.
I just want you to know how fantastic the staff are in particular Lorraine.
She is so caring and empathetic and always keeps the family fully informed when required.
The staff are all a credit to you

Dear Jon

On behalf of myself and my family I would just like to pass on some thoughts in regards to my wife Jackie who passed away 4 weeks ago today and the care she received in Aria Gardens.

Jackie had been a patient at Aria Gardens for the last couple of years first starting in the Dementia Wing before being moved into the Hospital due to her decline in health.

While Jackie suffered from Dementia (which was hard enough on its own to deal with) she was also blind which made things even more challenging for your staff to help look after her.

In the last few days of her life the love, care and affection that Jackie received from the staff at Aria Gardens was beyond amazing.

I would once again like to say Thank You for all that you did for Jackie and I know that she would have appreciated everything that you did for her.

Yours Faithfully
Brian Weymouth & Family

I want to thank you for your care of Tony and welcoming him and us to make us feel like family.
You have managed him really well under difficult circumstances and all the while calmly supporting us too. Whenever I needed to talk, or ask questions I was always made to feel there was all the time in the world. I know there wasn't and you all have an extremely difficult job to do, and you all do it with such love and compassion to everyone. I consider myself blessed to have the good fortune to have placed Pop in your care. I have learnt much from the experience.

I haven't seen dad for a couple of weeks due to work and moving house. He looks amazing, it is a credit to you all. He is always lovely and clean and in nice warm clothes. I cant thank you enough. The wonderful care means I don't have to worry and there is always plenty of staff around. Words cannot describe my appreciation to you all. Thanks so much, Deborah Strickland
