Registered Nurse Yes We always have a registered nurse on site. All our registered nurses have substantial experience in caring for the elderly and palliative care.We use Nurse Maude Pallative team for advice and support

Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes Our staff are friendly and always there to help out, many have been here for over 15 years - a testimony of a stable workforce
Physiotherapist Yes We have a contracted physio that comes in two days a week as well as two physio aides who work full-time under her direction.
Social Worker (on site) Yes We have access to a large number of qualified social workers through our Christchurch Methodist Misson community services team.
Diversional Therapist Yes We have one qualified Diversonal Therapist who is full-time

Kaumatua Yes The Methodist Mission have a long standing partnership relationship with Te Whatu-Manawa Maoritanga O Rehua Marae, since its inception as Rehua Hostel in 1952.
Chaplain/Spiritual Advisor Yes We have an in-house Chaplain who coordinates a team of ministers and lay people from various denominations. We have services on Wednesdays and Sundays. There is a monthly Catholic Mass as well as weekly communion visits to Catholic residents
