Radius Millstream is ideally located in a peaceful, scenic setting, while remaining close to the amenities and conveniences of Ashburton and the surrounding area. Purpose-built for comfort and clinical excellence, the home provides expert nursing, dementia, palliative, and respite care, available for both permanent and short-stay residents.

Our experienced registered nurses and dedicated care team deliver round-the-clock medical support with warmth, professionalism, and respect. Residents enjoy modern, private rooms that are tastefully decorated and include spacious en-suites for comfort and privacy.

For those who enjoy social connections, Radius Millstream offers a wide range of inviting communal spaces. These include multiple lounge areas, a large living room with a big-screen television, a library, and a dedicated activity room where residents can relax, connect, and participate in daily life.

At Millstream, we offer respite care, which gives family or carers a break from caregiving or if you need a little extra help after a hospital stay.

ASSISTED LIVING APARTMENTS
We know how important choice and flexibility are as you navigate your retirement lifestyle and the possibilities of needing care. Our Assisted Living Apartments at Millstream offer a new no-strings-attached way to be supported. Pay-as-you-go and enjoy support with daily meals, cleaning and laundry services, access to a registered nurse and social and wellness activities, plus additional medical and personal support options to dial up and down as required.

Details about meals

At Millstream, the kitchen prepares fresh, nutritious meals that are tasty and inviting.

There are three main meals, with two options provided at dinner. There are snacks throughout the day and a cup of tea ready to be poured often. The menu is on a four-week cycle and is designed with residents in mind and approved by a dietician.

The most popular dishes are fish and chips on Fridays and roast lamb, pork, and beef. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated.

Special features

Millstream offers residents free personal Wi-Fi to stay connected with loved ones, access news, shop online, and stream movies or TV shows.
They also provide a free, elder-friendly phone with oversized buttons and cover all mobile and toll calls. Residents can bring their existing phone numbers with them when they move in.

Interests & activities

Millstream offers an extensive activity programme that promotes self-esteem and personal fulfilment. They aim to stimulate cognitive functioning, nurture their residents, and provide purposeful activities that result in full and enriched lives full of fun, laughter, and smiles.
