Middlepark is a small Care Centre with a big heart. Nestled down a quiet, leafy street in Upper Riccarton, offering a range of standard and premium rooms including Care Suites.
Middlepark is ideally located just two minutes from Blenheim Road and just five minutes from Church Corner, so it’s a breeze for visitors to pop in, or get you out and about to local shops and cafes. Riccarton and Hornby Malls are also close by, should you need to grab the essentials.
Middlepark is known for its homely feel, created by a warm, friendly team who go out of their way to provide personalised care and make residents feel like part of the family.
Your room is your own private space, so you can decorate it with your favourite pictures and ornaments. Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the DHB. Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite bathroom or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.
Care Suites provide both Rest Home and Hospital level care, which means you can relax knowing you won’t have the upheaval of moving again if your needs increase. All Care Suites have a heat pump and full ensuite, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge and a kettle – perfect for making a cuppa when friends and family come to visit. You own the right to occupy your Care Suite, so you can personalise it with your favourite furniture and treasured pieces. A DHB assessment is not required for care that is paid for privately.
Hop in our van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. A scenic drive through the countryside, shopping trips or picnics in the park, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme.
Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings…there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to want second helpings!
Oceania is a leading provider of premium healthcare services in New Zealand. With over 40 locations across the country, we’ve been part of local communities for over 50 years. We’re recognised as industry leaders in care, winning awards for innovation, food, staff training and community engagement.
When it comes to your care, you know what you do and don’t like – and we want to know your preferences too. Because everyone is different, all of our residents get a personalised care plan, so from meals to medications; everything that’s important to you is covered.
