"Kapiti Rest Home is our Residents home" - we provide a safe, family environment where each Resident's physical, mental and spiritual needs are paramount to the Management and Staff. Kapiti Rest Home is certified and is able to accept both private paying and subsidised Residents. We believe the essential components of "home" are ....safety and companionship, challenge and fun, purpose and recognition, respect and dignity. We want our home to be an environment where each Resident enjoys a lifestyle which they recognise as their own.

Testimonials from our Relative Satisfaction Survey February 2024:

"We are incredibly lucky to have our mum in such a gorgeous spot on the Kapiti Coast, and to be cared for and loved by such amazing people. Having mum happy and secure is peace of mind."

"Top class care and attention to each resident is clearly and happily given. The "HOME" atmosphere is evident with the behaviour and reactions of the residents".

"Kapiti Rest Home provided wonderful care for my mother. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, comfortable and 'homely'. The staff are very approachable and caring. The meals and daily activities for the Residents are of a high standard and you feel that your loved one is being looked after in a 'home away from home'. Beautiful outlook over Kapiti Island. Totally recommend Kapiti Rest Home" - Lisa.

"Our family appreciate the genuine concern and care provided to our mum. Although initially reluctant about rest home she is keen to get back after an outing with family. She is very happy and always tells us "they take good care of us in there". Thank you."

"My mother was a resident for 2.5 years. During this time I found Heather and her staff very friendly and approachable. My mother wasn't the easiest person to look after but the staff are so patient, pleasant and caring".

"We appreciate the individual care you provide. We know you see Dad as a whole person with his own needs and you cater to that as much as possible. We also appreciate the laughs the team provide to Dad and us. We are grateful for the outings and how it feels like you are always looking at what else you can do to provide a caring and fun home for Dad and the other residents".
