Situated in a peaceful, rural setting on the outskirts of Pukekohe township, Franklin is a boutique Care Centre with a family-friendly feel. Known for providing a high level of personalised care within a warm and welcoming environment, Franklin offers every level of care and a choice of standard and premium rooms.

Franklin is conveniently located just 2km from State Highway 22, making it easy for friends and family to visit or to take you out and about to nearby shops, cafes and restaurants.

Your room is your own private space, so you can decorate it with your favourite pictures and ornaments. Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the DHB. Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite bathroom or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.

Hop in our van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. A scenic drive through the countryside, shopping trips or picnics in the park, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme.

Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings…there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to want second helpings!

Oceania is a leading provider of premium healthcare services in New Zealand. With over 40 locations across the country, we’ve been part of local communities for over 50 years. We’re recognised as industry leaders in care, winning awards for innovation, food, staff training and community engagement.

When it comes to your care, you know what you do and don’t like – and we want to know your preferences too. Because everyone is different, all our residents receive a personalised care plan, so everything that’s important to you - from meals to medications - is covered.
