Our Care Offering
In a quiet, leafy street, Middlepark is a small, boutique rest home with a warm family feel. From the staff who greet you in the hallways, to the fresh and inviting living spaces, at Middlepark you’ll feel right at home. There’s always something happening in our main lounges - find a friend to chat to or join in the day’s events. If it’s peace and quiet you crave, relax in the sunny courtyard, or settle a comfy chair with the cat in one of our many cosy nooks.

We don’t have visiting hours at Middlepark because we know it’s important you stay connected to your community. It’s home so friends and family can join you anytime for a cuppa and catch up. We’re just 5 minutes from Church Corner, so it’s a breeze for visitors to pop in, or get you out and about to local shops and cafes.

Activities Programme
Hop in the Middlepark van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. A scenic drive in the country, shopping trips or ice creams at the beach, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy your own personalised playlist with I Love Music and live entertainment every week. Join in the fun with our neighbours from St Thomas’s school, get crafty and creative or keep flexible with games and exercises, there’s something for everyone no matter what you’re interested in.

Food
Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings… there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to want second helpings!

Great care is what we do, and we’ve got the accolades to prove it. You can be sure you’re in good hands. Oceania has won the Supreme Care Award from the NZ Aged Care Association 3 years in a row. When it comes to your care, you know what you like and don’t like - and we want to know too. Because everyone is different all of our residents get a personalised care plan where from meals to medications, everything that’s important to you is covered. We’ve also got a choice from standard to premium rooms to stunning Care Suites, so no matter your needs or budget, there are plenty of options.

Mum is loving it at Middlepark. We are very impressed at how easy the process has been. We had visited another facility which we found disappointing and it made us feel as if we had no idea what we were getting into, but we found Middlepark was welcoming as soon as you stepped through the door and had a very homely feel. Mum is getting involved in the activities and enjoying the food. Staff are very caring and have great communication. Middlepark is clean and tidy and this has taken away the stress we felt when mum was living alone. We think that Middlepark is a great place and we are more than happy.
