Name: David. Re: Upgrading my Invacare Comet Alpine mobility scooter. Thank You Neil for upgrading my mobility scooter. The scooter was not the easiest to drive as the steering made it difficult to control. The scooter would over-steer which was somewhat dangerous on our footpaths. The steering also had a tendency to drift. In crossing from one footpath to another, the scooter would jump and almost go out of control, ( on one occasion it did ). Since the upgrade all these problems have disappeared. The scooter now drives smoothly with no tendency to drift or over-steer. It no longer jumps or makes any attempt to go out of control over bumps or crossings. The upgrade has made the machine stable and a pleasure to drive. Once again my thanks. David. |

Service Description
| About Us. Neil & Julie Wood of Scooter Works have been servicing and repairing mobility equipment in Whangarei and Northland since 2000. Neil is a Qualified Electrical Service Technician. Scooter Works have the largest selection of mobility equipment Northland. We also have a range of mobility scooters approved for community grant funding. Scooter Works offers full workshop facilities and carries diagnostic information and fault code lists for all of the below brands of Mobility Scooters. see our workshop page Our service vehicle is equipped with an air compressor, which means we can repair punctures on the spot. We can also repair Rest Home Equipment, such as Electric Hospital Beds, and Patient Lifters, and Power Chairs. If you plan to visit our workshop or to look at scooters, Please phone first to make an appointment. I am often out doing service work, but if I know someone is going to call in, I will arrange to be here. We cover Wellsford, Maungaturoto, Mangawai, Dargaville, Kawakawa, Kerikeri, Kaikohe, Whangarei and Kaitaia. |
