Situated in the heart of Palmerston North, the EASIE Living Retail Store and Demonstration Centre is a one-stop-shop for disabled people, older people and those caring for them to access information, advice and products that promote and enable independent living.
Our retail store sells a wide range of mobility and independent living products, from mobility scooters to rollators, shower stools to incontinence products. We’re open 6 days a week and have fully accessible, free onsite customer parking. Come in and see, touch, and try out products and equipment to see what’s right for you and your home.
Our ethos is allowing people to live independently for longer, and our range of products in store support this. As a not-for-profit operating division of the MidCentral DHB our aim is to keep items as accessible as we can.
EASIE Living is also one of 24 Disability Information Centres (DICs) across New Zealand, meaning our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help guide and advise visitors to find the information and support they’re after.
As well as our fully functional demonstration home, regular product demonstrations, and accessible meeting and conference facilities, we also have a mobile van service which provides demonstrations and retail opportunities to community groups across our region. All items in the store can also be purchased online, and couriered across the country.

| EASIE Living Retail and Demonstration Centre supports people to live independently for longer by supplying a variety of equipment and products, including: Kitchen Gadgets Incontinence Products Mobility Scooters Wheelchairs Rollators Walking Sticks Brolly Sheets Shoes Sensory Items Ramps Shower Stools Toilet Seat Raisers Rails Beds Lift out Lazy Boy Chairs Perching Stools Commodes Kitchen Trolleys Over Bed Tables Phones Digital Clocks Equipment available for hire includes: Wheelchairs Rollators Shower and bath items Knee scooters We have a full demonstration centre which is free to visit so you can see how you small modifications to your home can make a big difference. We also run Moving and Handling Refresher courses for professionals run by our Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, as well as regular workshops and presentations. |

Our range in store is perfectly targeted towards meeting your needs, supporting you to live independently for longer in your own home. In store we host a range of talks and groups where you can learn about things such as keeping yourself safe at home, keeping safe online, fire safety, and much more.
