Given the current COVID-19 environment we have temporarily disabled our ‘feedback’ feature. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Ultimate Care Kensington Court is a caring, well-established, New Zealand owned and operated retirement facility offering village community living, rest home and hospital level care. We have served the residents of Nelson for over 20 years, providing high quality services and care. Kensington Court has recently earned a four year certification from the Ministry of Health in recognition of our excellent performance and ongoing quality improvement.

Our hospital has recently been refurbished to offer care suites or well-appointed hospital rooms.
Kensington Court is well known for its exceptional staff, quality of nursing care, nutritious home cooking and excellent facilities contained in a homely environment. We have an extensive activities programme tailored to meet residents’ needs. Our staff are loyal and committed to the care of the residents.

There’s always something going on in and around the facility. Many of our residents are independent and enjoy the communal activities and opportunities offered here. Staff are committed to ensuring our residents have a home away from home.

All of you were wonderful and I felt we all became a family of sorts. I have never felt such compassion from strangers as I did from all of you from the rest home. I will remember you all with love and thank you for the loving care that was given to our loved one. He responded to the staff much better than he did with his sisters and even his daughter. We laughed a lot about that but know he was very glad we were there to grump with him. Kindest regards Lois Cherrington
