We offer 48 Care Suites for rest home and hospital level care that are purposefully designed to provide residents with the care that they need in a manner that respects their dignity and independence.
When you come into our care, we know your priorities go well beyond being safe. We do all we can to ensure the move into assisted care is a positive experience for residents and their family. Our experienced registered nurses will work with you to create a unique plan of care to suit your needs.
If you are considering the move for yourself, or for someone you love, you can be reassured that our premium Care Suites and facilities enable residents to enjoy life with comfort, security and dignity.
It is important to us that all residents feel they are living in a premium, home-like environment. We have designed our Care Suites to ensure colours, surfaces and architectural features emphasise ease of care and support dignity. Appliances which support resident safety and care, such as hoists, are designed to be discreet.
Our Executive Chef ensures residents requiring special diets enjoy restaurant quality cuisine. We use innovative food moulds to present nutritious meals which look amazing, and taste and smell delicious.
Our care philosophy is to put all residents first with dedicated caregivers they can get to know. They will provide the essential human connections that come when people just take time to listen and engage.
We have engaged with experts and invested in technology which supports care, communication and connections for our residents.
Using one simple tablet, with intuitive functions, residents can make phone calls to friends and family, including video calls. They can also speak to their caregivers wherever they are on site. The tablet can be used to call up the menu from our restaurant quality kitchen to book a meal for the next day, and it can be used to select and watch a movie, to play games, or enjoy online hobbies.
Our guiding principles are clear; Rawhiti Estate is the one of a kind place for one of a kind retirees.

|There are a number of unique qualities that Rawhiti Estate will showcase in order to fulfill our desire to provide a continuum of care, and they are as follows:
Thanks to the Be: Art Trust we will be unveiling brand new artistic works from local New Zealand talents Paul Dibble and Karl Maughan to be displayed at Rawhiti Estate.
This artistic aesthetic flows through to the atrium, which is lined with pillars inspired by New Zealand's iconic Nikau palm trees. Beneath the canopy of the pillars, in the heart of the atrium will be a garden feature wall that will brighten and breathe new life into the fantastic space.
Rawhiti Estate will also be the first retirement village in Auckland to use the Vocera communication system. The hands-free, wearable badge-like device will allow our team to communicate with one another far more efficiently and sharpen their focus on what matters most, our residents.
Connected to the Vocera badge will be the Care Cohort powered tablet system, which each resident will have within their suites. With this powerful tool at their fingertips, our residents will be capable of communicating in real-time to our staff, allowing them to immediately provide our nursing staff with critical information, contact family and friends, order food from our village chef and so much more.
Our care suites are generous in size, beautifully appointed and "feel just like home". Most of our care suites come with a kitchenette and a fridge. The furniture supplied has been chosen with the older adult in mind and to promote our residents to be independent. The ensuites are all tiled with under floor heating.
