Elloughton Gardens is a stately old house steeped in South Canterbury history. Originally built in 1893, the home is now a stunning Radius Care facility.

Elloughton Gardens is located in Marchwiell, a 10 minute drive North of Timaru. With sea views on one side and mountain views on the other, Elloughton Gardens is ideally situated in a rural environment.

A majority of the rest home rooms open out to their own patio, most have en suite toilets and some have full en suites.

Elloughton Gardens has 3 courtyards, with entertainment and BBQ areas.

To Rose and all the other Nurses, Carers and Support Staff - in short ALL the ANGELS at Elloughton whose loving care, dedication, and overall SUBLIME devotion to our Mother June, until her passing, can never be repaid.

Just to say heartfelt thanks for service above and beyond the call of dedication to Mum, but we the family too, was truly memorable.

Registered Nurse 200 Yes We have a Clinical Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse) who leads a team of full time dedicated registered nurses. A registered nurse is in our facility 24 hours per day.
Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes We have healthcare assistants under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. Our HCA's either have or are working towards full Aged Care qualifications to support their practice and to provide the best care for your family member.
Physiotherapist Yes Active Health provides individual physiotherapy and a progress plan for those residents who require treatment. We have a dedicated HCA to continue the plan and run a walking bus to maintain independance and reduce the prevalence of falls.
Occupational Therapist Negotiable Can be accessed as needed.
Social Worker (on site) Negotiable Timaru hospital is able to assist us with any apsects.
Diversional Therapist 52 Yes We have two activities co-ordinator, together they provide individualised or group activities to support, stimulate, and encourage our residents to maintain their independence and cognition.

Hairdresser Yes Michelle our hairdresser attends the inhouse salon. She is available for bookings twice weekly but will make herself available to residents for special occasions.
Podiatrist Yes Our podiatrist is Central Podiatry. Nathan Dixon provides service to the facility bi-monthly and on demand.
Dietitian Yes Our dietician meets with all new residents and as health needs arise. Our meals are homely and cooked on site. All our menus are developed in conjunction with the dietician to ensure maximum nutrition and enjoyment.
Kaumatua Yes Peter Hopkinson visits the facility weekly and as required.
Chaplain/Spiritual Advisor Yes We encourage all individuals to maintain their community church links where possibe. In addition we hold regular weekly services at Elloughton Gardens, these are Catholic masses, Anglican church holds monthly service and also an all denominations service.
