Description
Ultimate Care Churtonleigh is a place where you can be as independent or as cared for as you choose. We are situated in the heart of Churton Park with panoramic views over the surrounding hills. The rest home and hospital facility has a sunny, sheltered deck area, a small courtyard off the dining room and a choice of communal lounges. Our kitchen team produces nutritional meals and snacks that are cooked on site and our recreation team comprises two qualified Diversional Therapists who work together to provide a wide range of activities

Registered Nurse Yes We have a dedicated team of registered nurses who provide 24/7 care for all of our residents. Our registered nurses are committed to ensuring that we meet the needs of all our residents.

Physiotherapist Yes We have a contracted physiotherapist who pays regular visits for assessments and is available upon request.

Confused Residents Yes At times we see confusion with some of our residents, our team of staff are highly trained to ensure we comfort and support any of our residents that may be distressed or confused at periods of times.
Lounges/seating areas Yes We have two small lounges and one main lounge where recreation activities take place Monday to Friday. We have a sunny deck with outdoor furniture and raised planter bed with shade available. There is also a small internal courtyard with water feature.

We are part of the Ultimate Care Group

We encourage all of our care staff to complete their National Certificate in care of the elderly and undertake education in dementia care. We are pro-active in encouraging education on a variety of topics.
We like to consult with and involve families as much as possible.

Activity programme is run from Monday to Friday.
Canine friends visit our residents.
Children from the Churton Park School visit and interact with our residents weekly during school terms joining in activities such as craft and cooking.

Details re Meals Our kitchen team produces nutrition meals and snacks cooked on site. The company employs a food consultant. The menus are dietician-approved and we cater for special diets and individual's preferences wherever possible.
