Dear Team,
After a month as a resident I want to make comments as to my reception and experience here.
Failing eyesight means my heavy print but 40 years of nursing between army, psychiatry. general and tutoring I have formed ideas of what is needed.
Carnarvon is outstanding on many aspects. The love, peace and harmony of the life style is echoed in the view from my window - lawn, trees, shrubs.
The staff are hand picked for warmth, courtesy, insightfulness, perception and patience. A hallmark of the both given and shown. Truly a beautiful experience for those of us who are frail and fragile in our sunset years.

They say we seldom see angels, but I have met a whole bunch of them here at Carnarvon Hospital. I watched everyday as they lovingly and patiently cared for people in the most vulnerable, weak and powerless stages of their life. Thank you for your efficient, kind, gentle and beautiful care of my beloved uncle in his last days. I am so grateful to you.
You are amazing ambassadors of one of the greatest professions in the world. I salute and thank each one of you.
