Our elderly parents (happily married 71 yrs) are having the very best of care at Acacia Park. The staff and managment are always on hand and are wonderfull careing and kind people. Thank you so much to you all.

I agree with the other review and would like support the view that management seem more interested in paperwork, both medico legal and commercial legal than addressing concerns from the patients.

Poor rating

Sadly this Rest home does not meet the expectations of family and patient. Management unapproachable, food below par and special diets requested not always served. When using the equipment for lifting, staff are not trained properly. This is the cause of many injuries and bruises. Laundry care is shocking and patients clothing often mislaid or damaged.

Provider response:

Thank you for your feedback. With over 55 years experience in the Aged Care sector, CHT Healthcare Trust is well known for providing very high levels of care, innovative facilities and staff who truly do love working with older people. In particular, CHT Acacia Park is consistently applauded for the wonderful care it provides and a proactive, passionate Unit Manager who is constantly engaging with residents and families, so it is surprising to hear of your complaints as they have not been raised directly with the management team. We welcome you to approach the Unit Manager at any time for a confidential discussion.
