WELCOME TO AVONLEA.

Avonlea is a 50 bed home administered by a Trust Board that offers you 24 hour Hospital and Residential Care of a very high standard. It is situated in the town in a quiet setting, attractively landscaped gardens with unique and picturesque river views.

Friends and family/whanau are most welcome to join us when celebrating special occasions or may drop in for a visit at any time.


WE ARE A ONE STOP SHOP FOR CARE

PERMANENT CARE
We cater for Hospital level of care (Level 5) and residential level care (level 3 and 4). Funded and non-funded beds are available. All potential residents must have had an assessment prior to admission, but we can help with these arrangements.

SHORT STAY CARE

TERMINAL/PALLIATIVE CARE

CARER SUPPORT
We cater for short stays – a day. A week, a fortnight, each person is different and have their own needs and timeframes. We will fit in with whatever is requested.

DAY-CARE Avonlea offers a stimulating and exciting day care programme.

MEALS AT HOME
Avonlea offers a home delivery service for nutricious meals or you can purchase frozen meals.
This is a 7 day service.

Details about meals We pride ourselves in offering home cooked, delicious meals. Appetising, assorted nutritious meals are served with special consideration given for individual likes and dislikes. Residents may choose to have their breakfast in bed if they wish.
