Named after New Zealand's world champion tennis player and one of Christchurch's favourites sons, the Anthony Wilding Retirement Village provides a full range of care and lifestyle options for the elderly. Residents enjoy fantastic indpendent townhouses, assisted living in wonderful serviced apartments and a warm and welcoming resthome. The village also features a hospital where residents receive the very best of clinical care from our registered nursing team.

The Village features the latest designs in retirement living, and is set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens in the peace and quiet of Aidanfield. Residents enjoy resort style facilities including an all-weather bowling green, indoor heated swimming pool, spa, library, hair and beauty salon, gym and so much more.

Whanau Room Yes We have a whanau room available that offers family and visitors the opportunity to have time out, make a cup of tea or coffee or make private phone calls. Simply ask our staff and we will always do our best to assist our families at anytime.
Rooms (Single) Yes All our rooms are single with ensuite. The rooms are beautifully proportioned and furnished with an electric bed, bedside cabinet and low boy as well as a wardrobe. There is a call bell beside the bed and ensuite

Residents Committee No We hold meetings for residents every two months. All residents are invited to this meeting.

The Anthony Wilding Retirement Village is a purpose built Village which aims to exceed expectations and satisfy the unique requirements of all our residents.

The Hospital rooms are spacious and warm with a television and ensuite for residents to enjoy.

There are qualified staff on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week which guarantees peace of mind.

The village offers fantastic services including housekeeping, delicious meals, maintenance, fresh towels delivered daily, and other services to cater for individual requirements.

Full time activity co-ordinators ensure there is always entertainment, outings, guest speakers, groups and clubs, happy hour, and all sorts of activities to keep residents entertained.

Respite care, and day care options are available for those residents who may require professional, short term care for a variety of reasons, (eg.post-operation care, family/caregivers going on holiday).
