The Oaks Care Centre offers a choice of standard and premium care rooms, including Care Suites.

Your room is your own private space, so you can decorate it with your favourite pictures and ornaments. Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the DHB. Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite bathroom or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.

The Oaks Care Centre and Village is conveniently located on Main South Road, making it easy for friends and family to pop by or get you out and about.

Many of our residents are active in the local community – enjoying social activities at clubs and societies like they’ve always done. The Oaks Care Centre is handy to shops and public transport, which makes getting out and about a breeze.

Some of the features of the purpose-designed building are the wider doors, larger bedrooms with electric beds, Sky TV combatable outlets in all rooms and fittings for external telephones connections.

There is plenty of living space as we have 4 lounges and numerous sitting alcoves, all of which have a different outlook and different furnishings. This means that residents can have a changing outlook each day, which adds interest and variety.

Our gardens are flourishing with plenty of outdoor seating allowing sunny spots to sit.
