We know that moving into care can be a challenging time, so our staff are trained professionals who are passionate about aged care and are there to make the move as easy as possible.

We understand that everyone’s situation is different and here at Summerset at Pohutukawa Place, we offer various accommodation options so you can choose what suits you best.


Care Suites and Rooms

Our care suites and rooms can provide both rest-home and hospital-level care (subject to certification). Our suites and rooms can accommodate a comfortable chair, other small furniture items and personal belongings. All rooms include a TV, a heat pump, and a small kitchenette for making a cuppa.

With all our suites and rooms offering premium accommodation, we have options around how you pay for your room. This may be either a daily accommodation premium or an option for cost certainty by way of Licence to Occupy.
