Your Companion is a non-medical companionship-based service for the elderly providing superior, cost-effective and compassionate care.
We provide companionship services for the elderly who are living at home or in a care facility. We offer them emotional support, friendship and socialisation, take them to and from appointments or just keep them company while they watch TV or read a book—whatever makes them happy is our priority.
Our services are extended to people living with dementia and cognitive decline and our care can be provided in many settings, including homes, retirement villages, care facilities and hospitals, or wherever our clients reside.
At Your Companion we also provide part-time jobs for retirees who are looking for something meaningful to do with their time and give back to their community.
Our companions are life experienced, mature individuals who undergo rigorous background checks, and we provide ongoing training to ensure that they are equipped to manage any situation that may arise.

Our companionship services for the elderly focus on providing emotional support, fostering friendship, and promoting socialisation. Our team of companions loves nothing more than having a cuppa and a chat. CONVERSATION AND MENTAL STIMULATION We believe that by stimulating the mind and fostering meaningful interactions, we can contribute to a more fulfilling and enriching life for the elderly. Our activities for mental stimulation include reading assistance, listening to music, playing cards, solving puzzles, and enjoying photo albums. We are dedicated to creating a space where the mind can thrive through meaningful interactions. LIGHT ACTIVITY SUCH AS WALKING OR TIME SPENT OUTSIDE At Your Companion, we understand the importance of keeping the body active and healthy. We offer light activity services tailored to our elderly clients’ individual abilities and preferences. Our companions provide encouragement and supervision for light physical activities such as walking, gardening, pet walking, outdoor picnics, and gentle exercise. LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING We aim to help our clients maintain a healthy and clean living environment while also promoting social interaction and companionship. Let us assist you with sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and other light housekeeping tasks to keep your home clean and tidy. GROCERY SHOPPING Let our experienced companions help you with grocery shopping and meal planning so you can focus on doing the things you love. MEAL PLANNING AND PREPARATION Our companions can assist with cooking delicious and nutritious meals, or if you prefer, we can arrange for a supply of fantastic pre-prepared meals to be delivered to your door. TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM APPOINTMENTS Whether it’s the occasional trip to the doctor, a weekly meet- up with your friends at the bowls club, or traveling to see the grandkids play sports on the weekends, we can ensure you arrive on time and honor your commitments through our personal transportation services. SOCIAL EVENTS, GOING TO CAFES AND CONNECTING WITH FAMILY At Your Companion, we recognise the importance of social connections and staying engaged with loved ones and the wider community.
