Westpac Business Awards Win for Visionwest Community Trust

Visionwest Community Trust, which incorporates Visionwest Home Healthcare (North Shore), first won the Excellence in Strategy and Planning Award and then took out the evening’s big award – the Supreme Business Excellence Award – at this year’s Auckland Westpac North-West Business Awards.

Visionwest incorporates a number of wraparound support services including Visionwest Home Healthcare which, with 1,300 Support Workers, supports the independence of 7,000 elderly and disabled people around the upper and middle of the North Island, and is New Zealand’s largest not-for-profit home healthcare provider.

It is the first time a not-for-profit organisation has won the Supreme Business Excellence Award.

In congratulating Visionwest, Auckland Business Chamber Chief Executive Michael Barnett said, “They have shown resilience, and innovation through both stable and unprecedented times and are deserving winners. It is important they are recognised.”
