Service Description
Service Description
Kate McLean Homecare provides care for elderly, convalescing, palliative and post-operative clients in the Auckland region.

Our compassionate, professional caregivers give assistance with personal care and household tasks such as cooking meals, shopping, and doctors or hospital visits, enabling our clients to stay and enjoy the comfort of their own home.

To ensure this we work hard to tailor our care packages specifically to our individual client’s needs. Our Caregivers can be in the home for just a few hours right up to 24 hours, seven days a week. All of our care can be modified to adapt to the changing needs of our clients.

Kate and her team enjoy regular communication with all of the agency’s clients and their families. By nurturing a strong, supportive relationship with the Caregiver, client and agency we ensure our client’s receive the best possible care and families are kept up to date with any developments.

Kate McLean Homecare offers in-home care for those people who wish to remain in their own home but need some level of assistance in day-to-day living.

Our care packages are tailored specifically to our individual client’s needs. These can include daily visits, and over-night or 24-hour care and can adjust as our client’s needs change over time.

Our Caregivers can help with:
• Personal Care
• Palliative Care
• Supervision of Medication
• Doctor / Hospital visits
• Any other non-medical tasks
• Compassion and companionship
• Cooking Meals
• Shopping

Obligation free in-home consultation
The first stage for any new client is for Kate or Riet to meet the client and their families for an obligation free consultation. This ensures our client’s enjoy the best possible care from the outset and we can begin to build the close client/Caregiver/agency relationships we pride ourselves on.

Continuity of Care
We believe strongly in the value of continuity of care. By matching our Caregivers to the individual client and ensuring they work with that client as often as possible it naturally builds strong and trusting relationships.

Why choose us?
• We are responsive
• We are flexible
• We are professional
• We are experienced
• We are honest & trustworthy
