The New Zealand Aged Care Association (NZACA) is a national membership organisation which represents the aged residential care sector.

We work to promote policies that enhance and protect the interests of our members, and work for the care and wellbeing of older New Zealanders.
Our members make up over 90%, or approximately 36,000 beds, of New Zealand’s aged residential care sector and include rest homes, hospitals, dementia and psychogeriatric care, as well as short-term care facilities.

We are proud to help our members provide outstanding quality care through advocacy, lobbying, training and education, and clinical support.

All NZACA members are expected to abide by the NZACA Code of Conduct and Code of Residents' Rights and Responsibilities.

When choosing an aged care provider, look for one backed by the New Zealand Aged Care Association.
