At CAB North Canterbury we help people to know and understand their rights and obligations and how to use this information to get the best outcomes. We provide people with the confidence and support they need to take action. Nationally, we work for positive social change within communities and wider society. Our service is free, independent and confidential.
Due to Omicron being in our community we are currently not seeing clients face to face. If you need us, please phone us or email.
In addition, we offer the following services for clients:
• free JP, Immigration, Legal and Budgeting clinics
• free CV preparation and cover letter service
• one-to-one help with online forms and applications
• a face-to-face settlement information service to newcomers to New Zealand

Meeting the needs of older people
| All of our volunteers are happy to take their time with you so you don’t feel rushed. The majority of us are in our 60s and 70s and understand the need to be patient, clear and encouraging to clients. There's no judgment and we'll help you at your pace. Our office is welcoming and easy to access. Do come and see us. We're here to help! |
