Special Features
Harbour View is an owner-operated service. Denise has 16 years of experience in the care of the elderly.

The building itself was formerly owned by the Waitaki District Health Board and went into private ownership in 1990. In 2003 it was extensively refurbished. The wide entry foyer leads into two wings with bedrooms leading off it. A newer wing leads out to the front of the building. The dining room, kitchen and main offices are in the centre of the complex. Furnishings and decoration are homely towards heritage in style and this gives Harbour View the feeling of a gracious home of years gone by.

The grounds are spacious and well maintained with the central rose garden being a real picture during the rose growing season. A driveway circling the rose garden allows for easy and safe loading and unloading of vehicles.

Harbour View has one of the best views in the region. The comings and goings in the harbour can be easily observed as we are not too far away from the action.

We are bounded by King George Park to the west which allows our residents to have supervised outside walks.
