A lot can be said through our hands — a welcome, a goodbye, a friendly embrace, a playful gesture, a sign of affection, or just the delivery of a cup of tea. At Radius Millstream, we offer more than just an extra set of hands; we strive to improve your life at the stage you're at.

Radius Millstream enjoys both a quiet, scenic location and close proximity to the amenities and conveniences of Ashburton and the wider area. Radius Millstream was purpose-built to provide expert nursing, dementia, palliative, and respite care on a permanent or short-stay basis. Our qualified and experienced registered nurses and staff deliver around-the-clock medical support with warmth, efficiency and respect. Our modern, private rooms are beautifully decorated and include spacious ensuites. Should residents wish to step out and socialise, there’s a wealth of communal space, including several lounge areas, a large living room with a big-screen TV, a library and an activity room.

The team at Radius Millstream fosters a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a second family. Plus, proximity to the Lochlea Village makes it easy for couples and friends with different care needs to stay connected.

STAYING CONNECTED
Millstream offers residents free personal Wi-Fi to stay connected with loved ones, access news, shop online, and stream movies or TV shows.
They also provide a free, elder-friendly phone with oversized buttons and cover all mobile and toll calls. Residents can bring their existing phone numbers with them when they move in.


OUR FOOD
At Millstream, the kitchen prepares fresh, nutritious meals that are tasty and inviting.
There are three main meals, with two options provided at dinner. There are snacks throughout the day and a cup of tea ready to be poured often.
The menu is on a four-week cycle and is designed with residents in mind and approved by a dietician.
The most popular dishes are fish and chips on Fridays and roast lamb, pork, and beef. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated.


ACTIVITIES
Millstream offers an extensive activity programme that promotes self-esteem and personal fulfilment.
They aim to stimulate cognitive functioning, nurture their residents, and provide purposeful activities that result in full and enriched lives full of fun, laughter, and smiles.
This is a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
