Nurse Practitioner No Liaise with DHB specialists, and local GP surgery which has a Nurse Practitioner

Physiotherapist 4 Yes Every Tuesday clinic on site, and able to be accessed when clinically indicated.
Occupational Therapist No Visits can be arranged.

Diversional Therapist 32 Yes We have 2 Diversional Therapists on staff, one who works in PLE and the other who prepares activities programme and delivers these in concert with other staff. These roles are rotational.
Activities Co-ordinator No All care staff participate in planned activities programme - and sometimes our ancillary staff join in too!
Hairdresser Yes Visits as requested. Residents can also be taken to town to access other salons. One of our care staff is also happy to set and style hair

RSA visits, we join in activities with Senior Citizens, support from "Friends of Kaikohe Hospital", Art, Cards, Trivial Pursuit, Housie weekly, Church (several different denominations weekly), Cooking, Craft, Dancing here and visiting elsewhere, Entertainment, involved in inter-rest homes games and occasions, MINDS comes monthly for a song and dance morning, Exercises daily, Garden, Happy hour, we visit the Ngawha Hot Pools, Indoor games, Library, 2 Log fires, Massage, Outdoor games, Movies and large TV and video, Kareoke, Music regularly including Maori music and Poi, Newspaper reading daily, Quizzes, Shopping. Voilinist performs once a week , sing-a-long.
