Description
Elderslea Care

Our Care offering
Located in Upper Hutt and well known in the community for its lovely facilities and park-like setting - with extensive and beautifully landscaped gardens. From the upper rest home wing, you can take in the beautiful panoramic views across to the hills.

Select rooms benefit from direct access to a beautiful sunny courtyard, which is a popular picnic venue during the summer months. The facility and its residents are ‘pet friendly’ which is great news for our cat.

A warm and friendly atmosphere is how our residents would describe us. With a focus on the specific needs of the individual, each resident has a personal care plan, with ongoing monitoring to ensure we provide them with the exact level of care they need.

To balance this out with keeping busy and having fun, our Activity Coordinators continually plan and run a wide range of weekly activities.

Activities Programme
Elderslea offers a wide range of activities and events, running on a daily basis – both inside the home and through organised trips. Our Activity Coordinator speaks to each of our residents shortly after they arrive to discuss their interests and to explain our programme.

Activities include quizzes, Connect Exercise programme, concerts, art, entertainers, happy hours, games, gardening, cookery, sing-a-longs and more.
