The Oaks Care Centre offers a choice of standard and premium care rooms, including Care Suites.

Care Suites provide both Rest Home and Hospital level care, which means you can relax knowing you won’t have the upheaval of moving again if your needs increase.

All Care Suites have a heat pump and full ensuite, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge and a kettle – perfect for making a cuppa when friends and family come to visit.

You own the right to occupy your Care Suite, so you can personalise it with your favourite furniture and treasured pieces. A DHB assessment is not required for care that is paid for privately.

The Oaks Care Centre and Village is conveniently located on Main South Road, making it easy for friends and family to pop by or get you out and about.

Many of our residents are active in the local community – enjoying social activities at clubs and societies like they’ve always done. The Oaks Care Centre and Village is handy to shops and public transport, which makes getting out and about a breeze.

The Ministry of Health conducts regular audits of Residential Care Facilities. They can be found HERE.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
