About Merivale Retirement Village
Merivale Care Home is the kind of place where you feel the warmth as soon as you walk in. Here, care isn’t just something we do, it’s the way we show up for people every day. Our team takes the time to get to know each person so we can support them in a way that feels natural, personal, and thoughtful. Whether your mum enjoys reading in a sunny corner or your dad lights up when there’s music playing, we do our best to help them keep doing the things that make their days feel like their own.
Life at Merivale is filled with the small, meaningful moments that make a place feel special: friendly faces, warm conversations, shared meals, and activities that bring people together. As you stroll around the care suites, don’t be surprised by the delicious smell of home-cooked meals.
Most importantly, you’ll find a team of dedicated staff who know you by name, and who go the extra mile to make every day brighter. Whether it’s a warm smile, a helping hand, or planning personalised activities, our people are what make Merivale so special.
Our care suites and care rooms are thoughtfully designed to give you comfort, privacy, and space to make your own. Our care suite studios and premium care rooms each features a private ensuite bathroom.
Care suite studios also offer a kitchenette with a small fridge and tea-making facilities so you can enjoy your cup of tea just the way you like it. Personalise your care suite or care room with the option to bring your favourite furniture to truly make the space feel like home.
Our meals are freshly prepared on site by our talented team, using quality ingredients and seasonal produce. You’ll always have a choice of tasty, nutritious dishes, lovingly prepared to suit your preferences and dietary needs.
Whether it’s a relaxed lunch shared with friends, a family visit over afternoon tea, or a quiet dinner in your own space, every meal is made to be enjoyed. Because here, dining isn’t just part of the day, it’s one of life’s simple pleasures.
We know how important it is to stay connected with the people you love. Your friends and family will always be welcome to spend time with you, and they can join in for meals and celebrations as well as pop in for a cup of tea and chat, anytime.
If you want to know more about our beautiful care home, please contact Anne and make an appointment.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
