About Arvida Molly Ryan
New Plymouth’s Molly Ryan offers retirement living and care in a warm, welcoming community set amongst beautifully maintained grounds. Our care rooms provide a comfortable and welcoming space for residents who need additional daily support. Each room offers personalised rest home and hospital-level care delivered in a friendly, family-focused environment.
As part of Arvida's Living Well Communities, Molly Ryan supports residents to live well through five key pillars: eating, moving, resting, thinking and engaging. These pillars guide everything we do, helping residents feel healthier, happier, and more connected.
Our team takes time to understand each resident, their needs, their stories, and the little things that bring joy. It's about building meaningful relationships and helping people feel at home.
Life at Molly Ryan is never one-size-fits-all. From health and wellbeing plans to activities that reflect your interests, we make sure life here feels purposeful and enjoyable. Whether it's a favourite meal, a spontaneous outing, or simply knowing someone is nearby when needed, this is a community where comfort and peace of mind come naturally.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
