Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes We have care givers on duty covering shifts over 24 hours each day. The number of care givers on duty throughout the day can vary according to the dependancy of our residents, ensuring that there are at least two on during busy times.

Occupational Therapist No Can be contacted as required for assistance.
Own Social Worker No All residents have Needs Co-Ordinators, and some have their own social workers.

Hairdresser Yes Traditionally Wendy, our hairdresser has visited monthly, to cut the men's hair. Now that the number of women in our home is increasing she is happy to visit more frequently.
Podiatrist Yes Our Podiatrist,Patricia Stowell,visits every 4 weeks.
Dietitian No We have a five week rotating menu. All menus are regularly reviewed, by a dietitian, and reflect our Resident's likes and dislikes. A dietitian can be contacted when required for Residents with dietary concerns. Specialty diets are able to be provided.

Mini bus Outings to places of interest, shopping, The Library, Movies and for Mystery Drives.

Visits to St Chads for indoor bowls, badminton, table tennis, Linwood Union Church and the Richmond Working Mens Club for entertainment and refreshments.

Monthly interdenominational service held at Heathbrae by St Marks Church, Opawa. We also have links with The Spreydon Baptist Church, Opawa Community Church, St Chads, and Holy Trinity Avonside.

Email, and Internet available. Digital camera (we can send photos to relatives and friends).

Entertainers visit Heathbrae each week and twice a month at weekends.
